OK, it’s time I spilled the beans. Ultrasearchula is now up and running in a beta state. So, as dedicated readers I thought I’d let you loose on it prior to moving forward with a full promotion. Please pop along to www.ultrasearchula.com and check it out. Let me know what you think, and I’d be most grateful if you could report any faults that you find.
I will be releasing an official iGoogle Gadget soon, meanwhile you can use this link to a pre-release version of the Gadget.
What is Ultrasearchula?
Ultrasearchula brings together all the top websites: Google, Amazon, eBay, Wikipedia, last.fm, Flickr, IMdB and many more. Providing an all in one search box, to find what you want quickly from a single uncluttered page or gadget. The searchable websites are categorised (Amazon in shopping, eBay in Auctions, for example), with a configurable default website for each category. It’s also quick to use, with one click search and one key shortcuts. For example, simply type s iphone, and press return, to search for an iphone at your favourite shopping site.
Check it out and see what you think, hopefully it’s as useful to you as it is to me.
