The latest iGoogle gadgets list on Google appears to be playing up at the moment, so I decided to check through the latest gadgets at www.googlemodules.com. This site is very well laid out, easy to navigate, and you can quickly preview gadgets or add them to your google or web page. Though some odd things have just been posted on there!
The most intriguing of gadgets this week is ‘Post Secret’. Be warned though, it’s conceptual art and sometimes a little disturbing.
However, my gadget of the week is ‘What is today’, which displays the current days famous birthdays and nationally named days. What makes it a little different is that there are more interesting ones, such as ‘National Eggnog day’ and ‘Blame someone else day’. It’s a little overdone, doesn’t need all the options on it, but it’s still a great thing to view daily.
